How this invoice generator works
Fill in your business details and your client's, add one or more line items with a description, quantity, and price, and this tool calculates the subtotal, tax, and total automatically — including a separate tax rate per line if you're billing a mix of taxed and untaxed items.
Everything happens in your browser. The PDF is built and downloaded locally — your business details, client information, and line items are never sent to a server, and your own details (name, address, contact info) are saved in your browser only, so they're pre-filled the next time you open this tool.
Switch between “Quote” and “Invoice” depending on where you are in the sales process — a quote is a non-binding estimate, an invoice is a request for payment. Both use the same layout; only the header label changes.

Is this a legally valid invoice?
It's a professional billing document, not a certified legal invoice for any specific country. Some jurisdictions require additional mandatory fields on formal invoices (for example, a specific registration number or tax phrasing) — check your local tax authority's requirements before using this for official filing.
Does my data get uploaded anywhere?
No. The PDF is generated entirely in your browser using the information you type in — nothing is sent to a server. Your own business details are saved in your browser's local storage so they're pre-filled next time, but that stays on your device.
What's the difference between a quote and an invoice here?
Just the header label and the default document-number prefix — a quote is what you send before work starts and isn't a request for payment, while an invoice is. The calculation and layout are identical either way.
Can I add a logo?
Yes — upload a PNG or JPG in the “From” section and it'll appear at the top of the generated PDF. It's processed locally and embedded directly into the file, not uploaded anywhere.
