About Toolzy

Toolzy is a small collection of free, no-login web tools for things people need to do often — converting an RMB amount into formal Chinese numerals, checking a currency exchange rate, or glancing at a crypto chart.

Why it exists

Most of these tasks are simple enough that they shouldn't require an account, an app download, or a paywall. Toolzy is built and maintained by a single independent developer, kept intentionally small and fast, with no logins and no data collection beyond basic, privacy-respecting analytics.

Where the data comes from

Exchange rates come from the European Central Bank via the Frankfurter API. Crypto prices come from CoinGecko. Weather data comes from Open-Meteo. All are free, public data sources — Toolzy doesn't sell or share your data, because it doesn't collect any to begin with.
